DebianAlphaHOWTO, work in progress

Hi,

I have been long a silent reader of this list, ever since my own UDB
croaked ;-). However, I have been able to obtain 3 naked AlphaStations 200
(i.e. boards and bits plus power supplies, no enclosure) and a single
Aspen Alpine (board, no power supply or enclosure). The AS are, by the way,
otherwise complete - Crystal Audio and all.

I have been able to install a single AlphaStation and will probably
work some more on it. The Alpine I cannot get to start for lack of
documents of the power block it wants. The AlphaStation, as soon as
I can scrounge an enclosure for it, can be made available for developers.
It has 96MB of memory and is not a speed demon (what, in addition, with
it being in Israel ;-)... but I will gladly open accounts on the machine
for developers.

In addition, I have come into possession of some 40 275MHz 21064A CPU's.
Does anyone want one? Can one be put on an Avanti (AS 200)? Does anyone
have good docs on the Avanti?

Chris, Adam - I have slightly updated my HOWTO. Can one of you tell me
what is needed or grab the SGML source and use it?
