I did create this MR https://salsa.debian.org/deeplearning-team/pytorch/-/merge_requests/15 please check it out when you have time.

I needed to bump to llvm-22 (for pytorch-rocm) as ROCm stack on debian experimental (7.2.4) relies on llvm-22.

I will be working on pytorch-rocm uplift in the next few days . I can provide more information once I reproduce it.

We recently bumped the stack in experimental. We might need to adapt the rocm build for pytorch.

I encountered this issue when trying to build pytorch against the ROCm
stack in experimental:

  clang++: error: unable to execute command: posix_spawn failed: No
such file or directory
  clang++: error: amdgcn-link command failed with exit code 1 (use -v
to see invocation)

Any idea? To reproduce it, just check out to the latest git commit of
src:pytorch and prepare with debian/rocmbuild.sh
