Hi Christian,

As the individual responsible for many of the mistakes of this 
transition, I certainly feel that some of this is my fault. It's worth 
exploring the specifics of what went wrong and I appreciate that you've 
gone into detail about the problems. A full postmortem on the ROCm 5 -> 
ROCm 6 transition is vital, as I would not want to repeat those errors 
in the ROCm 6 -> ROCm 7 transition. While there might still be a few 
things that I've missed, I think I understand most of the troubles that 
we encountered and I will try to explain in equal detail what happened.

There are, however, concerns in your mail that go far beyond my 
responsibilities. I will do my best to get you an answer.
