I believe the issue may be related to one of the flags or hardening options used
by debuild during the build process, as the compilation is successful when using make
directly. In that case, we would need to check the results with each flag applied
individually.
But I had some hardware limitations at that moment, I can now compile just this
file and see the results. Thanks a lot for your input!
