Re: Merging Debian Xilinx team and Debian AI teams

Hi Debian AI and Xilinx folks,

This is an old topic, but I've been accepted into the Debian Xilinx Team (in a Developer role) and I'm looking at what's needed to get this into shape. I'm hoping to help facilitate the packaging of the XDNA NPU stack with the target of creating an onnxruntime-xdna package.

Owners can move repositories around. That means owner permission from both

Specifically, under Settings -> General -> Advanced -> "transfer
project" AFAICT.

There's no such thing as the "Debian AI Team" in Salsa, so we can't really do that. Nor would it make any sense to move the Xilinx packages into ROCm (because they are completely unrelated software stacks). My suggestion would be to keep the packages under control of the Xilinx Packages Team on Salsa and merely change the team email to the Debian AI mailing list.

Sincerely,
Cory Bloor
