Admittedly, I'm speaking from ignorance on driver and firmware topics. I
just figure the easiest way to find out if it works is to get one and
try it.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm not entirely sure if passthrough is one
of the officially supported virtualization methods, but the product
manager was at least quite enthusiastic in telling me that they'd "fixed
it" when I asked about passthrough on the V710 last year.
