GSoC 2025 - huggingface-hub package progress update

Dear Mo Zhou and Debian Deep Learning Team,

Following our previous discussions regarding the GSoC 2025 LLM Inference Libraries project, I am writing to provide an update on my progress with the huggingface-hub package.

I have completed a preliminary version of the huggingface-hub package (version 0.29.3) that successfully passes lintian with minimal issues. Since this is my first Debian package, I would greatly appreciate your feedback and guidance on how to improve it further before submission.

As we discussed earlier, this package represents an initial step toward the broader goal of making vLLM and other LLM inference tools available in Debian. I am committed to continuing this work as part of the GSoC 2025 project.

I am ready to share the package files (.dsc, .tar.gz, .debian.tar.gz) for your review if you'd like to examine my current progress. Please let me know the best way to provide these files to you.
