I see 6.1.2 packages available in experimental

does it mean that all should be built against 6.1.2 ?

As available in https://salsa.debian.org/rocm-team/rocm-llvm
Or switch to the last release
https://github.com/ROCm/llvm-project 6.3.3 ?

We need to get rocm-hipamd 6.1.2 uploaded to experimental. Once that is done, we can begin the update to ROCm 6.3.3. There have been various improvements to the libraries, but the biggest benefit of updating is hardware support.

Once we get BLAS, SOLVER and RCCL updated to ROCm 5.7 or later, we can add MI300 (gfx942). It was only officially supported starting in ROCm 6.0, but there was experimental support in ROCm 5.7. When we get everything updated to ROCm 6.3, we can add Strix Halo (gfx1151) and RDNA 4 (gfx1200 and gfx1201).

Sincerely,
Cory Bloor
