I was quite excited about Jeff Geerling's video. Unfortunately, he is using a kernel patch series that seems unlikely to be accepted upstream. I'm not clear on what all the patches are for, but I think they are working around limitations in the RPi implementation of PCIe. I would not feel comfortable applying the required patches in Debian given the informal feedback I've gotten from the AMDGPU maintainers. Though, perhaps Raspbian might apply them?
