re-worded(newbie) Need help on Static IP
First of all, sorry for the off topic post.
Second of all, this is an off topic post to an off
topic post, so other can know the question is
answered.
Section 26 of the PPP-HOWTO in the debian /usr/doc/
HOWTO subdirectory discusses setting up linux as
a ppp server.
The only modification you would need to do if you
can't require a dialin to a specific port is to
write a script to allocate the ip based on the
username on login and set it back to the dynamic
if required when the username logoffs.
