Virtual is virtual and bare metal is bare metal. These bugs likely happen on a specific brand and model computer or smart device depending on the bare metal specifications and the bug needs sending up the chain.

What audio card does this emulate?
Do you expose multiple cores in the virtual machine?
I have tried to install 13.2 inside qemu with an intel-hda card, without
any issue, even with looking at vt4, thus talking a lot of logs.

*Everything* can be useful.
But the installer is not an environment where this can be collected
easily... It would probably be useful to try a preinstalled image:
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/cloud/trixie/latest/
and run espeakup in it, with the availability of dumping core files,
etc.
