What audio card does this emulate?

Do you expose multiple cores in the virtual machine?

I have tried to install 13.2 inside qemu with an intel-hda card, without
any issue, even with looking at vt4, thus talking a lot of logs.

*Everything* can be useful.

But the installer is not an environment where this can be collected
easily... It would probably be useful to try a preinstalled image:

https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/cloud/trixie/latest/

and run espeakup in it, with the availability of dumping core files,
etc.
