You can use 'sox' from the command line.  If you know the time stamp of 
where you want to cut

for example:

sox audio.flac temp.flac trim 1:25 30

Now the temp file will contain what is in audio.flac starting at 1 
minute 25 seconds and continuing for 30 seconds.  There a many variations.
