Re: Any Progress on an AI Related Screen-Reader?

I'm hoping for FS to make Jaws For Linux.
I know someone who works for FS, and he said one of the owners is a Linux
guy.

Thank you Samuel for a `quite comprehensive analysis. Personally I wouldn't
waste 1 byte of space with e speak. As far as Piper, I don't remember which
one, but a voice I wanted, I didn't have enough cpu to compile. I just tried
tunning Chuck Hallenback's "talkwith" script to switch synths, but it says a
module isn't loaded. I am supposing Speakup-and-Fenrir are an only options?
Wondering if Piper would give me more control over numbering-and-punctuation
than either Speakup or Fenrir? Boy, if I only some1 would port Vocal-Eyes to
Linux. Thanks in advance
Chime
