Re: Fenrir

Hi,

Just a thought, but did you run the configure_pipewire.sh script both as a normal user and as root?  I would give that a shot and see if that helps.  HTH.

Well Fenrir has to do with Debian accessibility.
Ubuntu is still Debian, so I think my quest for assistance is relevant here.

Hi Glenn,

With respect: Ubuntu is *not* still Debian. They can do things very differently
there - like snaps - they may have commercial priorities.

In this instance, you've likely got Ubuntu at one remove - a four year
old version of Ubuntu installed by a vendor with no necessary connection
to Ubuntu or Canonical.

This is really a debian-user question as much as a debian-accessibility
question but I'd probably give a similar answer there: to some extent,
you may be the only user in the Western world with one of these boards
or boxes *and* a visual impairment and thereby an accessibility need.

(Also, I'm subscribed to the list so there's probably little need to
cc my personal email here. Reply-to set accordingly)

All the very best, as ever,
