Re: Weird behavior with mates top panel

Mine doesn't have a programming menu, but it does get stuck as you describe.  It seems that pressing escape can get it back to the menu.

Hi,

I've noticed something odd, that i think is a odd behaviour.

When i log in to my Debian 12.10 bookworm, and press ctrl + alt + tab to get focus on the top panel, i experiece a weird behaviour, that if i press right arrow, i get to the one side and left to the other side (That part is no weird), but, if i keep pressing multiple times either left or right i will always be stuck on the one with "programs, places and system menu". Im not able to get back to the calendar, wifi, battery etc. unless i press ctrl + alt + tab and must sometimes change focus to the desktop or bottom panel and then again back to the top panel to be able to get to the menus in the top panel with battery, calendar, wifi etc..

Can someone confirm this weird behaviour, and or maby know if its me who is doing something wrong? I can access the menu with "programs, places and system settings by pressing "alt + F1" but this does not let me get access to "battery, calender, wifi etc."

Best kind regards
Kenneth
