Re: making espeakup and orca run on the mate desktop so I can switch between the console and the desktop
Hello,
i have setup my old Edge E130 with Debian Bookworm and Mate Desktop.
I can use console and orca with speech-dispatcher with Voxin ibmtts/Anna
Kompakt Embeded.
I have installed "speechd-up". I have a "asound.conf" in /etc/. In
speech.conf i have configured alsa as sound-output.
I use Anna kompakt on the console and ibmtts under orca.
If i want to adjuste mixer-settings, i must use amixer -c0 set "Master"
90% or ...
I don not know, where i can set alsa card 0 as default soundcard in alsa/
pipewire.
And wehn i use speechd-up/speech-dispatcher The "Volume" keys windows+1(2)
wil talk "vol 1, vol 2 ...", but there is no effeckt in the volume of the
speech-output.
Regards and sorry for my english
