Hi All,
I have Debian 32 bit on my Asus 701 on a 32 GB
card.
When I try to update, it tells me that it is out of
storage.
I did auto-clean and auto-remove, but I still get
the error.
So I just got a 64GB card.
The internal is only 4GB, so it boots to the SD
card slot.
If it were a Raspberry PI, instead of this netbook,
I would just DD it over to the larger drive, and boot it, and use the tool in
raspi-config to expand the partition.
But I'll be using the CLI tools in Debian to expand
the partition if I do it this way.
But I have heard that shrinking partitions isn't
good, and I'm not sure about using fdisk or parted in the CLI with regard to
expanding it.
Or another thought, would it be better to make two
partitions that use up the entire card, and use cp to copy everything
over?
I will put both cards into one of my Raspberry PIs
to do this.
