I am trying to install speechd-up in Debian 12 without success.
Shown below is the messages I get during installation. I have
found numerous posts on this subject on line but not yet found a
sollution. If, after rebooting, I enter "speechd-up; echo $?", I
get a message speechd-up is running but also with an error code of
1. My end goal is to get speech in the console tty 1-5.
