Hello,
spd-say not work.
in speech-dispatcher.log all module have this error :
[Sun Aug 25 11:31:17 2019 : 822134] speechd: Error: Module reported error in request from speechd (code 3xx): 300-Opening sound device failed. Reason: Couldn't open pulse plugin.
300 UNKNOWN ERROR
.
later in speech-dispatcher.log this erro :
[Sun Aug 25 11:31:17 2019 : 927526] speechd: Error [speechd.c:650]:No speech output modules were loaded - aborting...
in espeak-ng.log i found only this line :
pulse.c: pa_simple_new() failed: Connection refused
On gnome wayland it's perfectly working :-/
