debian buster net install image, no sound is herd

hi there,
just tryed booting from debian 10 netinstall image.
I hear the beep and press s so the speech goodness is activated,
to no avail!
I can assume that the net ISO does boot but something is not working.
is there an issue with the net iso?
I wish to move away from winblows 10, to you fine fokes at here debian.
from the cdimage.debian.org,
I see that there are more than the net install image, would any of
these be of use to install debian?
