Yes, you are basically right, 5 years covers the Jessie support,
including LTS.

The announced End-Of-Life date for Jessie is Jun 6th 2018 (see [0]),
after that, Jessie will get LTS (Long Term Support), see [1].

I fully aggree. If there are some bugs or issues you struggle with,
*please* report them or discuss/ask on the mailing list(s).
