stretch testing sound card picker findings

Hardware used:
a set of logitech 3.5MM jack connected speakers,
a set of usb power and data connected speakers,

Test cases:
1) logitech speakers only connected through center plug on sound card.
Result: success sound board was detected and once selected the rest of debian came up talking for installation.
2) usb power and data speakers connected only.
Result: failure, though I got the message to select the correct sound board the rest of debian did not come up speaking for installation.
3) Both logitech and usb data and power speakers connected to computer.
Result: failure, identical results to case 2 above.
4) Logitech speakers connected to sound board, usb data and power speakers connected to usb port in desk and desk usb connected to computer.
Result: failure see case 2 above.
In cases 3 and 4, both sound boards were offered as possibilities but neither sound board once selected had the rest of debian install coming up speaking afterwards. In one instance I waited 15 minutes and in another I slept and woke after about 8 hours and speakup in all of these cases was not running and could not be restarted.
