Hi, after an update from Debian Jessie to Debian sid, I've noticed that the LightDM accessibility is not working anymore. Orca starts with the usual greeter message, but is silent afterwards. Neither keyboard input nor mouse clicks produce any speech/braille output. There's an orca process still running (validated with pgrep), but it seems to not react anymore. I had a look at the log files: /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log indicates that orca has been started: [+0.49s] DEBUG: Session pid=1747: Running command /usr/bin/orca-dm-wrapper /usr/sbin/lightdm-gtk-greeter /var/log/x-0-greeter.log: notifies me that at-spi has been started properly Activating service name='org.a11y.atspi.Registry' Successfully activated service 'org.a11y.atspi.Registry' I was able to reproduce this behaviour on two systems. On the current machine it happened after a nearly fresh install of Jessie which was upgraded to unstable. It works fine for `startx`. Could I look anywhere else to find the cause of the issue?
