Hi. This upload of orca 3.11.92 was basically motivated by a bug in 3.10 regarding brailleLinkIndicator. It appears that dot78 result in a unicode-encoding bug which leads to more or less scrambled braille dots when a link in Firefox or similar is displayed. (For the technically inclined, 0xc0 (192) in UTF-8 results in two characters instead of one. If such an accidentally broken dot pattern is used as a dot mask, rather ugly but systematic things will happen.) The problem did not show in braille monitor due to the fact that braille monitor actually displays ASCII text, so it was rather hard to detect for anyone not using actual hardware devices to use orca. This bug has been fixed in 3.11.92 upstream (probably earlier, but this version doesn't show the symptom anymore) so I thought it's a good idea to start tracking uneven orca versions in experimental again. If people do like this, we can try to track 3.uneven.9* version in the future. In other words, we could track release candidates in experimental. It is actually not very hard to do, pkg-ngome has a very neat infrastructure. Once you know how to use the tools involved (fakeroot debian/rules get-orig-source and svn-buildpackage) new releases become rather easy to roll. (thanks pkg-gnome, you really rock!)
