Bug#691160: "Could not perform immediate configuration on 'python-pyatspi2" squeeze>>>wheezy upgrade
Hallo,
I am trying to upgrade my VIA ITX from squeeze to wheezy in the hope that the browsers will be more up to date as measured by gmail. I am not very clued up but have got so far :-
root@itx:/home/steve# dpkg -l | grep linux-image
ii linux-image-2.6-486 3.2+46 Linux for older PCs (dummy package)
ii linux-image-2.6.32-5-486 2.6.32-46 Linux 2.6.32 for old PCs
ii linux-image-3.2.0-4-486 3.2.32-1 Linux 3.2 for older PCs
ii linux-image-486 3.2+46 Linux for older PCs (meta-package)
root@itx:/home/steve#
when I do apt-get dist-upgrade
I get a list of files and
1067 upgraded, 639 newly installed, 62 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/1,082 MB of archives.
After this operation, 561 MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?
(I have done the download already in earlier attempts, now repeating to copy the message...which believe is a bug like the one reported earler)
and then on "Y"
N: Ignoring file 'google-chrome.list.save' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as it has an invalid filename extension
E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'python-pyatspi2'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)
root@itx:/home/steve#
(I have uninstalled chrome before starting the process)
Is this a bug - or just pebcak,
thanks,
Steve Thompson
