I think that's reasonable if it can all be accomplished with udev rules; I can
envisage complaints if people have daemons running (and taking memory) that
they don't want. My suspicion is that most people can live with the additional
disk usage, and those who can't will probably be strict about what they
install anyway.

So, I'm not opposed in principle, but on the other hand, any backlash
(especially due to legitimate and unwelcome side effects) could be damaging to
accessibility in the future.
