gnome-orca 3 and espeakup

Hi all,
Debian weezy, with gnome-orca 3.4.1-1
when i run orca as an user logged in, not even with Debian-gdm, espeakup 
stops speaking.
I think this is a problem with pulseaudio.
I configured speech-dispatcher to use the alsa module as audio output, and 
in this case espeakup works correctly, but the audio in gnome is blocked, 
as warned in the readme.debian of speech-dispatcher.
There is an other workaround to avoid this behaviour?
