It's still not solved for me using speech-dispatcher with Orca.
After the package upgraded, I did rm -rf on ~/.speech-dispatcher and then tried switching Orca to speech-dispatcher from gnome-speech.
Since I didn't edit any files related to speech-dispatcher in /etc, I didn't remove them for this test.
The pulseaudio error is fixed in the espeak.log, but still no speech from Orca with speech-dispatcher.
The contents of ~/.speech-dispatcher/log/speech-dispatcher.log are attached to this mail.
