Ah, you are replying to an existing bug report.  In such case, do not
include the pseudo-headers, and do include some part of the original
mail, because else it makes the maintainer believe it's a completely new
report.

I'm quite reluctant to apply the patch. This is actually rather a
wishlist upstream bug (personnally, I don't even see the use of the
information that the patch provides to the user...), so it should much
better be applied directly upstream, instead of adding a patch that
will need to be updated as soon as upstream touches the code around the
patch, etc.

So please submit the patch upstream instead, and it'll get propagated
automatically in next snapshot.
