It's a mess, you have to recompile a patched version of alsa-lib,
espeak, speakup, the speakup modules, kernel-wedge, the d-i kernel
modules, and eventually rebuild the debian installer...

The d-i packages are from unstable, but the installed system will be
Squeeze.
