If the fix is simple, I would be happy to accept it
into the 3.3 Debian packages and do a re-upload.

Please note that Debian is going into freeze in about one and a half months.
So if 3.3.1 comes out before that, we could still get it into the next Stable
release of Debian.  If 3.3.1 will likely need longer, I'd like to patch 3.3
such that these fixes are included.
