Bug#204965: atk1.0: Version 1.2.4 seems too old for proper accessibility support
Package: atk1.0
Version: 1.2.4-1
Severity: wishlist
It appears that version 1.2.4 of atk is getting a bit out-dated for
the latest accessibility related software in GNOME. When launching
applications, warnings like the following appear:
(metacity:4390): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1082: unable to lookup signal "link-selected" for non instantiatable type `AtkHypertext'
** (metacity:4390): WARNING **: Invalid signal type link-selected
(metacity:4390): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1082: unable to lookup signal "link_selected" for non instantiatable type `AtkHypertext'
It has been reported on the gnome accessibility mailing list that those
warnings are related to Debian's atk being too old.
COuld you please upgrade your packages to something like 1.3.5?
