Thanks for tracking this down. I am building a patched version of the parted
package for m68k for testing purposes now and I will upload it to the archives,
then build updated installation images tomorrow (the updated package needs some
time to reach the CD image building host).

Since you discovered this particular bug, would you mind sending a patch to
the parted mailing list to fix this issue? I will open a Debian bug asking
the parted maintainer to include the patch as well.
