Bug#931563: perl: update-configure target in debian/rules no longer works
Source: perl
Version: 5.30.0-3
Severity: normal
User: debian-68k@lists.debian.org
Usertags: m68k
Hello!
I'm currently trying to debug the build issues with perl_5.30.0 from experimental
on qemu-user and I tried adding simple echo statements to the Extract.U script.
According to debian/README.source, I have to run "debian/rules update-configure"
after modifying these files. However, it seems the "update-configure" target
no longer exists:
glaubitz@nofan:..perl/perl-5.30.0> ./debian/rules update-configure
dh update-configure
dh: Unknown sequence update-configure (choose from: binary binary-arch binary-indep build build-arch build-indep clean install install-arch install-indep)
make: *** [debian/rules:80: update-configure] Error 255
glaubitz@nofan:..perl/perl-5.30.0>
How can I modify the configure script in my case?
Thanks,
Adrian
