I filed the bug report six months ago but got no response. The 
4.8.0-2-m68k package has no improvement.

Perhaps the bug report was ignored because it relates to the binary kernel 
package not the source package.

Would someone please check whether I've messed up this bug report somehow, 
and if need be, adjust the tags?
