While I agree that I disagree with Joss' changes, I don't think that
we should be calling each other names here.

As for m68k not being shipped anymore: While this might be true based
on the fact that m68k is not a release architecture anymore, it is still
actively supported by many Debian developers (the mailing list is
highly active and so are the development efforts and new patches)
and the Debian project itself.

We just received a grant over 500 Euros which was approved by Lucas
Nussbaum in order to buy some modest hardware upgrades.

Of course it might appear as a waste of time and money to support
an architecture which has been out of active development for almost
two decades except for some embedded variants like Coldfire. However,
the main purpose of supporting the m68k port is mainly being a hobby
and an object of learning.

m68k computers like Amigas and Ataris have an incredibly large fanbase
and many still enjoy developing hard- and software for these machines.

Plus, working on the m68k port is a nice educational project for
everyone who wants to learn more about the Debian buildd system,
how porting is done and much more.

So, I think as long as there are enough people to keep the port alive
as well as many to actually use it, I don't see anything wrong in
keeping patches in various patches or sending them upstream to support
these efforts. Plus, in this case the bug seems to lie in orbit2
itself and fixing it will surely assure that it will also compile
without problems on arbitrary architectures in the future.
