I use 16mb allocated to Penguin. Works fine with that.
I don't use an initrd (I build my own kernels) so I can't tell you what the right arguments are. Probably root=/dev/ram Also, you probably need to specify the real root filesystem partition (e.g. /dev/sda5) but I don't know how this is done for a Debian initrd. Finn
I still use the real root (root=/dev/sda4 for example) option in Penguin booter by itself. It seems to be clever enough to handle the initrd options itself.
Still haven't gotten around to trying to figure out the ADB options for X. I have a couple or three PPC Macs sitting around that ought to work.
