It appears to be built-in, not a module, but even with 0.9.10-1 I get
[ 4.700000] /root/linux-2.6-2.6.32/debian/build/source_m68k_none/drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0)
Other possibility: missing kernel changes?
