I have encountered no problems. Changing stable to etch-m68k in the
sources.list was the only unusual step.  I followed the time-honored 
way of the apt-get dist-upgrade (although I understand this isn't the 
official release notes method).

Again, I should note that there doesn't seem to be security support for
etch-m68k atm.
