Here's what I'm putting in.

cdrom:
-s -d -k ../../kernels/linux -r ../../cdrom/initrd.gz root=/dev/ram video=atafb:vga16 console=tty devfsd=nomount load_ramdisk=1 debian-installer/framebuffer=false

floppy:
-s -d -k /linux root=/dev/ram video=atafb:vga16 console=tty devfsd=nomount load_ramdisk=1 prompt_ramdisk=1 debian-installer/framebuffer=false

I wouldn't expect ramdisk_size to be needed with 2.6.
