Do you have a second system, e.g. a nice fast amd64 or something?
You could configure distcc on the m68k and a cross-compiler on the
faster system (see recent posts about distcc + cross-compiler for
ready to use debs) and test this for a while so we can see how
reliable that works.
Otherwise I fear that the system is too underpowerd to be much
use. You would have to be seriously selective about what to build
given those limits.
