Scheduling it on a machine with more memory and giving it some time should 
help, it finished here. I've seen a generated file, which was preprocessed 
5.7MB and even with a cross compiler it takes a few minutes (without 
swapping).

Sorry, I meant the linux-kernel-headers which are already installed.
