It died a rather horrible death on top of the OOM error (if that's what
happened) - I got eth0: receive buffer exhausted in a tight loop and the
box basically sat idle since Friday.

I've added cernlib to no_auto_build locally. Before retrying it on hobbes
(to stress test the new 512 MB SDRAM DIMM) I'll need to set up a chroot
for stable-security there. That'll take a while.
