Hi, I've downloaded all the nescessary files to install debian on a 68k Mac, listed on http://www.mac.linux-m68k.org/docs/debian-2.2-mac68k-install.php.
I've partitioned the harddisk like the guide (see link above) says, and installed all the files correctly (I think). Well, everything goes just fine, 'till after the install of the base system, you have to reboot your Mac, but when I do this, open the Penguin again, change the command line to "root=/dev/sda5 (sda 5 is the Linux root 0 disk on my Mac), and try to boot Linux, there shows up an error message after a while on the white-on-black Linux initialisation screen with the Penguin in the left upper corner. The error message is:
Failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k bnfmt -0000, errno=7
Failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k bnfmt -0000, errno=8
Is this a common problem? Can anyone help me to fix it? thanx in advance!
