I've been keeping the mac68k CVS at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/linux-mac68k up to date for 2.2 kernels. It is currently at 2.2.23 and I've recieved email from a number of users indicating that it appears as stable as 2.2.20 while providing support for more Ethernet cards for the Mac. Make sure you use the linux-2_2 branch as the head is 2.4.x and very much out of date as I started to use the m68k CVS for 2.4.
