:/ i tried some days ago, but the problem is caused by something else,
since the "bad sound" is still there...

what could be the problem? ram? mb? power?

ok, i'll try to get some ram next month, but ATM i don't know how to remove
the ram that is actually in the IIci, since the slots are not "classic simm
slots". another strange thing is that two slots are white, and six are
brown. and they are a little different.

i could try, but if it will be so slow, i won't even bother booting linux
until i have more ram.
