Re: problems with booting installation system for debian m68k for mac...

my machine:

quadra 800
24 MB ram
hd 500MB for mac 8.1
hd 700MB for linux
   (64MB swap, rest for /)

my machine is:

quadra700
32 MB ram

hd 1GB which is tiled in
80 MB for mac 8.6
64 MB swap
rest for linux

i get potato installed (i use 2.2r5 and then upgrade to 2.2r7)...

could it be, that it is a monitor-thing why a fresh woody-install will keep spitting "bogl: don't know screen type 0" on the current console?

it is a color-monitor but since i installed mac 8.6 to replace mac 7.0 it is monocrome... anyway, my harddisk is a bit broken, so i have to get a new one and then try it again with openbsd :)
