Then, it is time for me to learn how to get ssh to work. I know that the telnet client in my Mac support ssh, but I need to learn how to make it work first =)

I would recommend NiftyTelnet 1.1 SSH r3 (look for it on VersionTracker), I tried MacSSH, but it won't work, becouse it only support SSH2... (or at least it didn't work with my quadra 950)

I will try that then. Thanks!

I got it and it works quite happily with my netbsd box, once I told the netbsd box to enable sshd. My sparc (Soalris), well, I recently finsished compiling sshd and now need to understand how to get it to work and then configure it so it starts when I boot up. But, the SE/30, well I do not know.

From what I read here, the sshd .deb package ain't working, so I may be better off compiling it myself as I am doing in the Solaris box. In the mean time, it would be nice to have telnet daemon working. /etc/initd.conf does not seem to have *any* entry refering to it (I guess it is called in.telnetd like in solaris). Very very interesting. Does that mean it is a .deb package I need to get?
