On older Macs, the CDs would have to have Apple ROMs on them to be
bootable. I don't think that's a problem for the newer
Macs. http://resale.headgap.com/ has real Apple 2x CDs for 17 USD,
including domestic shipping. Depending on your budget, timeframe, and
foreign shipping costs, that might be a good place to go. Other
options include finding a local place that does Mac service and seeing
if they'll help you out by either letting you use their CD, or else
doing the install for you.
